Playing dress up with Sissy

Little David and I had fun taking the "watch me grow" pics of Grant and we decided to dress her up a little too. Here is a sweet photo of Grant in her precious bonnet that Nana made her. David kept trying to put it on his head and be silly!

Little David's American Idol Audition

So...David is learning all types of songs on his morning rides to school with Daddy. This is one that I approve of- there were a few I had to nix. Here is a video of one of his nightly performances.

Watch me grow....

I got this idea from a friend (thanks Kara) and decided I'd utilize it for our family too. I wish I would've started it sooner but it's not too late. I will periodically take Grant's picture with this bear (thanks BeeGee) so you can see how quickly she is growing. So, this picture is Grant at 10 weeks old...stay tuned and I'll post her again in a few weeks.
This is one of those fill your heart up moments....I asked David if he could help quiet his sissy and he began to sing her a song that I have been singing to him since he was a baby- only he changed the words from boy to girl. I had to get this on video- it was such a precious moment!

David's touchdown dance

Here is a video of David showing off his new "touchdown dance". Please ignore my son's underwear hanging out- he insisted on dressing himself in play clothes that don't fit! Boys! Oh I love him so!

Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful time in South Carolina and North Carolina for Christmas this year. It was a whirlwind tour but we enjoyed every minute of it. We went from Charlotte to Cypress to Columbia to Cypress to Myrtle Beach to Cypress and then on to Lexington, NC and then flew out of Charlotte. We got to see family and friends we hadn't seen since leaving for Vegas. There were many we didn't get to see though and we just wish we had more time. Our little travellers did great with the trip and Grant's first flight was great- I hope she will be a super flyer like her brother. My only regret is that I don't have pictures from Christmas morning since we were up at 3:00am and on our way to the airport before 5:00am that morning. We had a wonderful Christmas and we feel so blessed. We're looking forward to a wonderful 2008!
