More waiting...

Ok, this week's update is that surprise- I'm still pregnant! :)
I am now dilated to 2 cm officially and if I don't go into labor on my own over the weekend, we are still scheduled to be induced at 5:30am on Monday, November 5th.
Stay tuned.....

David's 4th birthday party

We had a little birthday party for David at a local games place called Rockhoppers. He was so excited to have his best buds Cooper, Aiden and Gianna there with a few of his favorite "baby" friends- baby Blake, baby Kami and the brand new baby Lila. They had such a good time playing games- we finally had to push David out of the door. It was a perfect day and my angel boy is a big 4 year old now! This is also a pinnacle year for larger toys, with smaller parts and larger price tags- hello! There are little pieces of race track and various cars all over our house- ahhhh!!!!! What a lucky boy!

Yummy cupcakes

David's preschool class celebrated his birthday today so Mommy and David had to make 27 cupcakes for the occasion. Other mothers started the trend but I didn't want to do store bought so we spent yesterday afternoon and evening baking and decorating cupcakes. It was one of those moments that I live for as a stay-at-home mom. I have longed for the day when I would be the mom who could make cupcakes for my child's class and be hands on to drop by the school and help out and celebrate birthdays etc. David was so proud of his cupcakes and his face lit up when I arrived at school today with them. He wore a special birthday hat and really got shy as the whole class sang Happy Birthday to him. I can't believe how quickly my angel boy has grown!!!!

The waiting game....

Ok Betsy....you're right, I don't update enough. So, for those of you checking- I'm still dilated 1.5-2 cm so not much change in the last two weeks. If baby girl does not come on her own, I'm scheduled to be induced on November 5th. I have had many signs that she may come sooner but like her brother, she may just take her sweet time and will need some encouragement to come on out and face the world. If anything happens, we will post the news or you will get a phone call. Until then, I'll update next week. Love to all!
Oh, and look for updates this weekend- Big Brother turns 4 on Saturday!!!!

Daddy and David playing Golf

Daddy has tried to work with David on his golf swing since he was old enough to hold one.....he's just now deciding to show a little interest. So, this evening after Daddy got off work we went out to the Escondido course and David got to play his first golf course. Not a shabby course to learn on, especially considering it's been voted the best new course in Texas. Hey- we aim high! ;)

Another Rodeo....

We went to another rodeo- this one had less "events" for kids and was more of a professional event. We had a good time eating cheeseburgers and "tailgating" at the rodeo. We really enjoy watching the cowboys- David still likes to ride his "horse on a stick" around the house shouting, "Howdy Partner". This time Mommy went to Wal Mart and got him all decked out in appropriate Cowboy gear! What fun!

Trip to South Carolina

We had a wonderful time in SC! We were so glad to be there for Robbie and Rachel's wedding and David Jr was a showstopper as the ringbearer. Mommy was honored by a baby shower in her honor, hosted and attended by her dear friends from home. It was great to see family and friends that we haven't seen in a long time. This was Daddy's first trip back to SC (the motherland) in over a year! We can't wait to see everyone again real soon!
*The pictures uploaded in a random order and we're still having trouble with bluriness in our camera, but here they are...enjoy!
